Machinist/Mold Repair Technician 

Job description 
  • Perform incoming mold inspections in timely manner with error free documentation. 
  • Perform mold modifications and repairs to damaged tools as needed 
  • Develop and document instructions for safe and efficient mold tear down, assembly, and cleanings. 
  • Identify and label proper configuration of mold components for proper assembly of desired part per IQ and or part print. 
  • Install pipes/fittings and hydraulic lines on molds as need check all electrical connector as well. 
  • Maintain proper date code information for all active tooling. 
  • Ability to properly move and place molds and components using appropriate equipment and following proper lifting and handling techniques. Maintain tools and related equipment, clean, assemble and install mold components. 
  • May assist in the development and designing of new tools and dies, using computer-aided design (CAD) software. 
  • ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 background 
  • Perform normal preventive maintenance. 
  • Inspect parts produced from mold for damage or quality defects caused by mold or related components or equipment. 
  • Assure that the due dates are met on all internal and external orders. 

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour
